For those that don't know a Ruffneck is one of the most labor intensive job professions in the world. Also known as a Floorhand, Ruffnecks assist the driller in oil extraction from the earth. Ruffnecks are in the field while others can take a break, when nobody feels like doing the tasks, the ruffnecks are putting on fall arrest systems, or swinging a sledge hammer, or some other daring feat.
